Russ,

 

PBL has hollow brass 4 lens marker light castings. At least for PRR with
them out on the roof's edge fishing and hiding wires is another matter. This
would be a great place for LEDs if possible because you never want to have
to replace a burned out bulb in such a difficult installation.

 

I have markers on many of my Cabins but none are lit.

It was not that important to me. The MV lenses do a good job of capturing
any available light.
