Although I had in cursory way brought up the Pikesville website, I returned to it again as a result of reading the latest "Dispatch". The tank cars offered by the site appear to be AF style tankers. I could be wrong by judging from a photo, but it looks that way to me.
My second sober look at the tank car photos, however, makes me wonder about the underframe for these cars. It looks different from the Flyonel version, or is it? Perhaps someone out there can clarify this. Before I am summarily carted off to exile for referring to a tinplate item, I refer to it because I wonder whether the tank car itself and the frame--if I am right about its differing from the standard Flyonel tank car frame--could be used in scale applications.
