I managed to blow out both headlights in one of my 2-8-0's but that was due to
my DCC ignorance at the time when I installed a decoder. Never did get around
to doing anything about it as I tore the engine apart for hopefully reworking
it into a Frisco-like 2-8-0, but there it sits in a box in pieces...

I can't find my 2-8-0 manual right now, but there's a CV to reduce the output
to the headlights. I did this on my Tsunami equipped 2-8-0 because I felt the
headlights were too bright.
