The jumpers are in, and trains are running on the entire main line. I've run a
passenger train behind a pair of F units, the I1s decapod on a caboose hop, and
a short way freight.

Lots of dirty track. A few joints that need some filing. (The front truck of
the decapod does a great job of detecting them.) A tight spot on a curve that
derailed no cars in the train except the caboose. All to be expected in the
first hour of operation.

This afternoon: cleaning up the layout so I can take and post some pictures.

I am very encouraged. The layout will work! There is tuning needed as always,
but the basic concepts -- curves, clearances, turnouts, DCC, lighting, the
lift-out section, and more -- have been checked out and I am happy with them.

Stand by for photos.
