I guess the question is: "Will a personal touch be gone?" Yes, it is a larger company with other gauges to pay attention to, but possibly MTH will have some personal interactions with S gaugers. I know that it would be exceedingly difficult to have SHS' help, involvement, and personal touches in any size company. I do hope that the personal aspects will be better than Lionel and their scale offerings, but one can't expect 'major' (is MTH major?) companies to provide a fantastic product, with all that we desire, and provide the personal interactions that we were used to with SHS - although it would be nice to have some. Let's just wait and see what MTH comes up with.

I have few doubts that MTH will produce a quality S Scale/Gauge product.

What will be gone is the personal touch that the gang at SHS supplied at no extra charge.
