If you check the MTH 2013 HO catalog, only the diesel locomotive are sold as "DCC Ready." The steam locomotives are only available as DCS/DCC or the European Motorola standard/DCS.
That said, there are probably many DCC users out there who are perfectly happy just setting the loco's address, CV's 3 & 4 and not worried about remapping and other nitty-gritty DCC functions.
