I came into a newer model of an American Models GP-9, I have quite a few of
these locos that I bought from S Helper when they were a distributor. When I
took the shell off, I was impressed by how neat things are but the point of
this is the new light system. The lights are driven from a small circuit board
which I guess are current limiting, anyone know what voltage these lamps will
take? I am going to try out one of the new MRC decoders into this unit just to
hear it side by side with my SoundTrax decoders.
