Don,

I want to be able to have full sound on our club layout. We do have it  set up
for Lionel legacy on our main Line. our Southwest scene makes it easy for me to
connect the track jumpers. I know the signals are oversize but I can live with
it. I still run my 2-8-0 from you the most.

Dear Alan,  You need to look at drawings or images of the prototype item.  They
are oversized for S.  Although the items may look good, and correct, the
question is are they S Scale.  On the other hand, if they look good to you, buy
them...
Re:  LocoMatic at shows.  You need to do what we do (did?).  On your LM 10
button controller, you need to attach a length of paired speaker wires to the
"track" posts.  On the other end you will put two alligator clips.  The ones
with the vinyl protectors would be best.  As long as you can plug in the 9 volt
power source, you can connect the alligator clips anywhere along the bottom of
the layout to the two track power leads.  Put the voltage up and you can run
mode III LM.  I have brought this to peoples houses to show them how to run LM.
You do not need the track voltage going through the LM 10 button controller. I
wish I had known that when we started....
