I know you all must be getting tired of "S Scale Workshop" headers so thought I'd fool you by changing the subject title.
On behalf of the group I want to thank Stephen, Fred, Pieter (good to meet you Pieter) and others for your gracious compliments. Springfield was another gruelling trip, not as far as Milwaukee, but worth it to meet a new bunch of fine, S Scale folks. The host Bristol Club were most kind in their welcome and it was great to be invited inside their set up to talk with club members and see the layout from a different perspective. Our tiny rail can be quite finicky after a long, cold ride and I was envious of Bristol's bullet proof operation. It was also fun to hook up with Lee Rainey, Gary Carmichael and Frank Knight over at their Sn2 Crew layout. If S standard gaugers get a little lonely, give a thought to these two-footers in 1:64.
