Some FTs have a small plastic ball with ears on one end of the drive shaft. The ball fits into the cup on a u-joint. The plastic commonly cracks with age and then it slips on the driveshaft. The fix: Call R.Rustermier and buy one of his brass balls. Solder the brass ball onto the drive shaft and the days of slippage are gone forever. Ed Loizeaux
