Some FTs have a small plastic ball with ears on one end of the drive shaft.  
The ball fits into the cup on a u-joint.  The plastic commonly cracks with age 
and then it slips on the driveshaft.  The fix:  Call R.Rustermier and buy one 
of his brass balls.  Solder the brass ball onto the drive shaft and the days of 
slippage are gone forever.  Ed Loizeaux
