One thing Ed L. neglected to point out is that the Y3 ran on DCC on his layout
using the Lionel factory electronics. The electronics that come with the engine
were reprogrammed to be operate on DCC. This is a separate service to be
performed and provided by SSL&S to those who use our scale conversion service
only.

More information will be added to our website soon. The engine was shipped out
to Lionel for the electronics to be reprogrammed in time to debut at the O/S
Scale West meet. It was a rush and I didn't have time to take decent photos
before it left.
As soon as the engine returns home we will post photos and more information on
our website.
