I have no problem with locomotives running in consist. Unless the difference is 
extreme,the slowest motor in the group will determine the speed of the consist. 
The biggest problem I have is with F7A #19A bunching slack and causing 
undesired uncoupling on uncoupler magnets on occasion. I suspect 2-motor 
locomotives would react in the same way, minus the undesired uncoupling, of 
course.

With this in mind, SW-1 #22 never runs MU with the larger units due to the 
extreme difference in the gear ratios. Since it is perfectly happy puttering 
around The Humongous Company, this poses no problems.
