Brooks,

That is why I answered like I did. At our local train shows I have with me
several S-Gaugian and Dispatch magazines. Then when The Worlds Greatest Hobby
show came in town, NASG had a booth, but they did not send very much to
display. As I said Our local S clubs manned the booth during that show. Every
month my club "Lone Star Flyer" has our club meeting. we have several visitors
come in. I think we are doing our job when only 2 S clubs set up. We are high
rail but we show it all. Trinity S scale is our DC scale modual layout but they
can run High rail also.We do our part.

Michael,

Excellent points, indeed. I don't see any hot water in your future.

When you think about it, since there are so few of us in S compared to the
other scales, we must have a larger percentage active in promotional efforts or
we'll simply be drowned out. I like the idea of having folks post what they're
doing to share information about S with others. It's a great way to share
ideas on how to go about it.
