One of the problems is cross-cultural. Using the web to deliver 100+ page content is just kicking against the goads. Think of what is working on the internet: FaceBook has over a billion subscribers, even twitter outnumbers all hobby magazines combined. All of these successful internet ventures are short, quick, frequently updated.
I'm not trying to push John A into spending hours on a computer, but those of us that regularly use the internet should figure out how to broadcast S Scale in a language that makes sense to people that use the internet. Anybody that has the chops to send a photo attached to an email could create a WordPress blog for free. It took me ten minutes to set this up: http://meldridge.wordpress.com Or, pretend you live in san jose and have some spark of interest and are doing a web search: go ahead and type "S Scale san jose" in your search bar of your browser. Boink, up comes my page. Now get a good site, start getting 100 hits a month, then tell S Scale manufacturers they can advertise there for $5 a year. -Michael Eldridge ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
