Steve,

I put a Titan in my Lionel U33C (and changed it from Steam to Diesel). I also
have a couple of more Titans to go in my BTS 0-6-0s, but have not had time to
install them yet. And I think they will need major sound changes as well from
whatever big steam they are to an 0-6-0.

On programming them, I have a QSI programmer and always use that. I've not
looked recently to see what support DecoderPro is including for the Titan, but
can do that if you like next week when I am back home. At least some of the
sound decoder manufacturers treat a lot of the sound programming as proprietary
information, and I'm not sure how much QSI released to the open source
community to use in DecoderPro. So as a result I've always made it a point to
use the manufacturer provided programmers for sounds --- especially ESU and QSI
since both allow full sounds replacement (witness my changing a steam Titan
decoder over to a U33C!)

I'm certainly happy to help if I can, but am on the road at the moment and not
back home til next week. I should be able to easily compare what DecoderPro and
the QAI programmer can/does do at that point. Email me off list if desired.

Regards
Michael Greene
