Yep, the cupola-ectomy was easier than a bay-ectomy.  It only needed one (big) 
hole to fill and one roof overlay, as opposed to filling the bay gaps and 
moving windows around.  I did build a totally new frame, however.

Still got the cupola lying around here somewhere, waiting for a caboose to be 
built under it.
