Hi all -- Vic Cherven, Jr. just called to say that his Dad, Vic Sr. died this evening. Vic was just shy of his 95th birthday and had been active right up until this afternoon. Vic Jr. seems stoic about it, surprised only by the suddenness of it. They had spent yesterday in Oregon where Vic Sr. had been the life of the party... Still too soon to know all the ramifications. Vic will have to make the decision to make the convention a bit farther down the road now. He has to take the ashes to Michigan for burial in the family plot, and that might affect the convention trip. Sorry for the bad news... Bill Winans
