I just received the May newsletter from Jeff Adams at Motrak Models
(www.motrakmodels.net). As described in this excerpt from that newsletter,
Jeff is making selected colors of flat-finish Scalecoat paint available in
small bottles.

"Some of you folks probably heard that Testors has announced the end of Floquil
paint production. They are discontinuing Polly Scale and Floquil paint. If you
start having trouble finding your railroad colors in Floquil, Scalecoat offers
many of the same colors. You know that we carry Scalecoat paint. The main
difference between Scalecoat and Floquil is that Scalecoat paint dries high
gloss and Floquil dries flat.

"If you do a lot of painting, but need to have a flat finish, we can help you
out. You can order Scalecoat with a flat finish in quarts. To help my
customers, I will be carrying the following Scalecoat weathering colors in 2 oz
bottles in flat finish.
011 - White
113 - Rust
114 - Sand
115 - Dirt
116 - RR Grime #1
117 - RR Grime #2
118 - Engine Black

"We will be pricing these 7 flat weathering colors at the same price of $5.25
per 2 oz bottles that we charge for the standard Scalecoat bottles. If you
need any other Scalecoat colors in flat finish. I can special order them for
you. Please contact me directly and I will provide you with pricing and time
frames."
