The photography guide that Chris mentioned is not aimed at S specifically. It presents information useful for photographing models of any type in any scale, although many of the example photos are from my S layout. I'm not sure that there is any way to easily post it on this site as it is 30 pages in length. You don't have to be a member of the S SIG to access it on the SIG site but it is also available to everyone on Model Railroad Magazine's site:
