ANDY & PIETER:
Pieter is right. I started decal-making on a color laser. Not a good idea. Ink
jet is the only way to go. Laser printing lays down a closely-knit set of
granules that tend to disintegrate when cut for application. I make all of my
decals on a HP ink jet. I coat the sheets with at least two layers of Krylon
clear prior to cutting them out. Works great.

  Hi Andy;

  I would give them a light overcoat of clear. It's less important with laser
than ink jet, but you still would not want to scratch or run off the toner
while applying them!

S scale for a car that I want to model. I printed the lettering out on some
decal paper using a colour laser printer. Should I overspray the lettering with
something before I use the decals?
