Hi Tom and all --

I was VERY fortunate to meet Bob J. and Brian just before the Chattanooga
convention and only a few weeks before Bob had his stroke. Gerry Evans was
the nice person to take me over to see their layout. I put a few of my
photos on the NASG website (a hint Tom), but the attached photos were not
good enough for that. They do show some of the modern rolling stock
though.

Have fun!

With no intention to distract from anyone's congratulations on this MR
article, I might mention that two people used to operate on that layout, the
late father Bob Jackson and son Brian. They modeled distinctly different
eras, and all we saw in the article was Brian's steam-era trains.

Being partial to modern or contemporary railroading, I was a big fan of
Bob's TOFC and double-stack container cars and modern diesels. Fortunately
I visited the layout once and have my own pictures of Bob's modern trains.

Maybe there's another article in Texas Bob's files that would make us
modernistas proud.
