One or two insulated joiners would probably be adequate to keep the two mainlines apart. If there's a wye or loop in the picture, then it may get a little more complicated.
If it leads to an industrial area or maybe even DCC control, then the insulators could be avoided, although for troubleshooting purposes, it wouldn't hurt. ken garber By the way, no crossing for a SHS DC?
