Time for FRIDAY NIGHT FUN!! (Yeah, yeah, so it's Saturday. Didn't get home from work until nearly 9 PM last night. I forgot about it... OKAY????)
* The decals that will be used as examples for some S scale sets arrived this week. Hopefully, the finished S scale set will include a CB&Q "Blackbird" switcher set with "Route Of The Zephyrs/Everywhere West" scheme and the block letter "BURLINGTON" scheme. Also arriving in the order is a set of Missouri Pacific decals in the early "Jenks Blue" scheme. I figure I'll have surplus decals left over (on account of a minimum order number?). Anyone interested in some of the suspected surplus sets once I know how much the sets will cost? * Getting ready to put in an order to NWSL for the needed goodies to try a repower on one of my AM Baldwins. My stock ones run pretty darn good... but after viewing a video of a repowered one, I'm at least going to try ONE to see if I can improve them, even if slightly. (What can I say? I'm a slow speed performance junkie.) BUT... still lots to think over on this idea. * Also been kickin' around some concept changes in my layout effort that would be reflected in my modeling directions.
