As one of the first guys involved in the S Sig, I've also had problems
returning to that fold. Chris has tried in vain to get things right,
but the times I've tried have been fruitless so far. I'll be trying
again, just might try a different door!
I still like this form for the most part even though one gentlemen seems
to email me individually regarding my views on making our scale better.
You can't please all the people all the time and this guy is just plan
unhappy all the time I guess.

The SIG is a lot more active than that, but I don’t use the forum often
enough to remember my user name or password, and wherever I wrote it down
has disappeared also. To me, having to go through all of that to use the
the forum is more trouble than it is worth, and like you, I am sure it
is to
keep riff-raff like me from cluttering it up with facts. <grin>
