No, that is not a "2 step reverser" that is a reversing switch! The only
way to reverse that locomotive (short of installing a reverse unit. You
locomotive would be advertised as "Reversible" but not "Reverses by
remote-control." The two-step unit normally was attached to the rear of the
motor, and filled some of the space where your switch is.
