Service tip those people just learning to service there own
equipment: I have never seen this topic discussed in any service manual.
To protect the threads in plastic shells form repeated opening and
closing ( by removing and replacing the screws ) when replacing the
screws, turn the screw in reverse, you will feel the screw thread drop
into the original thread in the shell, when you tighten the screw it will
turn easier and seat in the original threads.
