Yes, just make sure to use distinct prefixes (and don't put one prefix
underneath the other).

That depends on your particular situation. In general, I see neither big

Yes. If you try it, mount.s3ql should refuse to do the mount unless you
have exceptionally bad luck (there is a small window where mount.s3ql
cannot detect the duplicate mount).
