Useful for diagnosing issues, in particular when these come from the underlying
build system (currently gradle).
A simple -debug flag would be fine.
If this flag exists, we would pass the -debug command to the embedded gradle
task when applicable.
We should also probably use the -stacktrace gradle option by default
