السلام عليكم، I've uploaded a package for 'noor' to our PPA, this is a light Qur'an viewer written in Python.
Please have a look at it. The advantage of Noor, is that it doesn't add much overhead, since it is based on Python (python already exists in the default ubuntu installation). Anyways, the package needs some finishing: 1. Needs manpages to be written for noorgtk, noortxt and noorhtmls binaries. I don't have the time for this now, but the README files provided by upstream does contain the info., so if someone can write the manpages based on the README, that would be great ! 2.
