Well, think of it as a distribution, not an OS ! The idea of Sabily/BlankOn and probably Helal (just knew about it from this thread), is to provide muslim users with a distribution that by default contains software they are interested in. Part of our work was developing (and packaging already available) apps. that are of interest to us, and making those packages available in Ubuntu/Debian repositories.
