FYI, if anyone else runs into this problem, I fixed it by doing the
following:
Downloaded the XML::Sablotron 0.44 perl package and reinstalled it.
I first tried downloading and reinstalling the Sablotron 0.44 sources for
Linux and the Expat sources 1.1.2. But this didn't seem to have any effect
on resolving the problem. So then I tried the Perl Package and ran the
install on that. It seemed to install with no error messages. Then I
stopped and restarted my apache server. And it worked!

Hmm, I've just seen this error on the sab-list...
I think its something to do with Sablotron's expat not being installed
correctly, or maybe Apache being compiled with expat support enabled (see
the axkit FAQ on the web site).
If there is a good reply from the sab-list I'll forward it to you.
