There are two topics related to this problem
1. Configuration stuff. Please, tell me what version of compiler and
libc do you use, operating system and its version etc.
2. Explanantion of code etc. Tom has to explain details. May be we have
to find some way, how to configure the source while no appropriate
libraries are installed.
We believed, that wchar stuff is widely supported, bacause is is ANSI
deffined part of std. C library.
