This surprising for me. As far as I know, php 4.0.4pl1 still requires the "old"
expat libraries. According to Sterling, the CVS version is already fixed and works
fine with the 0.50 and expat 1.95.1
I don't use php for my current work (though I like it and I used to work with php
some time ago), so I can't provide you with more practical support :(. If someone
has made php to work with the 0.50, he or she can provide us with more details. The
good news is that the next php version should (hopefully) work smoothly with sablot
0.5x or later.
