Yes it is. Sorry, we haven't been able to keep this attitude. Currently, we are
frustrated with some config stuff (iconv, wchar) and encoding issues. Then, other
major releases (0.60, 0.70, etc.) are planned.

The 0.50 give you sort and a lot of fixes related string functions etc. (see the
change log for more details -

without it, please wait for the 0.51 maintenance fixing e.g. install troubles.
