I have had trouble with "Stop" before as well. Sometimes the little square
in the stop button spins and spins, and it never stops stopping! Other
times after stopping I try to run the cell again, and nothing happens. I
find that refreshing the browser clears this up most of the time.

I had a student that put a calculation in a cell that took a very long time
to complete, which basically froze the worksheet waiting for this one
calculation. We had trouble stopping and deleting the offending cell. We
ended up downloading the file, opening it in a regular text editor,
deleting the "bad" calculation, and uploading back to Sage. There may be a
better way, but it did work.
