Sure, having an extra button is ok. I didn't like where the other one was.
But when you go to slideshow mode, you have a button that says "worksheets" and
another that says "worksheet". Were I looking at that for the first time, it'd
be a real WTF.

I hadn't intentionally taken out the bit where the left pane was hidden when
the browser starts up, but I probably would have if I'd seen it. I'll work it
with some cookies so that whenever you hide/show the bar, it 'remembers' that
-- so when you switch worksheets, the bar stays shown/hidden. Default has
gotta be "on" for new users.

The next version of the notebook is going to come with some major changes.

1) The server will be handled by Twisted
2) The browser will continually (~1sec) poll the server for updates (re: google
spreadsheets)
3) When updates are detected by the poll, they'll be individually downloaded by
the client if the client chooses to ask
4) User authentication will be done on a better scale -- and the users will be
able to download and edit a "profile" which will remember
   a) Whether or not to show the left pane
   b) Whether to start as a worksheet or slideshow
   c) Preferred key controls
This file will then be uploadable to another server -- so I can change my
settings on my local machine, and then update them on sage.math, too.
5) Every link will be able to be controlled by the keyboard

I'll put this up on the wiki.
