They are small and they do look really well drawn, (did you draw them yourself Tom?) I think if they are useful, i.e. after a while everyone who uses the notebook finds that they actually click on them a lot, keep em. Also, do these buttons solve the IE7 shift-enter evaluation problem? If so that is a good thing.
