I'm using Mac OS X, FWIW. - Somewhere in there is a python interpreter, or parser. Could it be taught to understand the SAGE dialect? I don't know that this will replace emacs, but I will give it a shot. Since it's an IDE, shouldn't I be able to run SAGE code from it? It's not clear how to do that (even for python code). Finally, when I look at the jEdit "help", I get "no such file" complaints for each of the 'what's new' entries. The plugin doc seems to be there. Justin -- Justin C.
