I would suggest that we limit our use of the GitHub wiki to the materials
related to the proposed GitHub migration.

The GitHub wiki has the drawback that it is not indexed by search engines
(see https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/33725).

Question for the Trac admins:
Would we be able to keep the Trac wiki in read/write mode while setting all
Trac tickets to read-only (and disallowing creating new tickets, obviously).

If so, I would suggest that we separate the migration of Trac tickets from
the migration of the Trac wiki.
The latter is less urgent and is best discussed together with content
migration of the Sage wiki.
In https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/33725, I discuss various possible
migration targets (not all content has to go to the same target).
