I think all the dependencies are in already, I think it's because it
takes a while to go through all the files and verify licensing and the
Debian guys are probably busy with the release. Usually it takes like
2 or 3 weeks to go through NEW.

I think this process is not so optimal, because it encourages you to
first upload a very easy version, that's easy to review and gets in
soon, and add more files in later revisions, that doesn't go through
NEW, only through your hands and hands of some debian developer.
Anyway, I hope it will get in very soon.
