There seems something wrong in the Category part:
C = VectorSpaces(RR); C
Category of vector spaces over Real Field with 53 bits of
precision
C(QQ^3)
Vector space of dimension 3 over Finite Field of size 5
I guess that RR has not become a finite field.
In fact, on the command line I get the answer
sage: C(QQ^3)
Vector space of dimension 3 over Real Field with 53 bits of
precision
