It is entirely possible that something went wrong with sage -merge.  I
think there's a problem with how it detects patch failures.  For some
reason, something keeps touching
SAGE_ROOT/local/bin/sage-README-osx.txt, so the repo perpetually has
uncommitted changes.

As for #5080, I thought I was careful only to apply
trac_5080_new.patch and trac_5080_cachefix.patch.  In any case, this
isn't a bug in sage -merge; if anything it's a mistake on my part.
