That is the usual procedure for anything that has been reported
upstream and you have a ticket for it. In this case, the subject of
ticket #7001 is clearly prepended with "[reported upstream]", which is
very thoughtful of you. I would think that the subject line of a
ticket is like the title of a paper or a news article.
