Cool, after the graph_editor I was thinking that matrix editor is the next step. But being kinda busy these days, I am glad some other people are working on it (email me if you need help injecting data from sage -> js and vice versa).
btw, when it comes to tabular content, there must be some general purpose JS out there. The best I found is http://www.visop-dev.com/jquerysheet.html (scroll down and hit DEMO) It is too heavy at its current stage but if stripped down, it might work for matrix editor.
