Please be sure to make this crucial distinction: the pari developers themselves (Karim Belabas and Bill Alombert) are extremely obliging and helpful, as far as they can be (one of them has been rather ill recently, for example, and there are only two of them). But their mailing lists (pari-dev, pari-support) and bug-tracking systems are not the best. Here's a good example: yesterday while working on #9343 WIlliam and Robert B found 2 bugs in the patest pari version we were using, reported them, and they were fixed within hours -- so the latest spkg at that ticket has already had these bugs fixed. > > >> If there are any, >> perhaps we should consider removing that part from Sage. > > Pari/GP is here to stay.
