Another potential conflict between sage-support and ask.sagemath... Some people probably answer more easily on email, and will perhaps ignore ask.sagemath requests; others vice-versa. On ask.sagemath there is this mystifying but cool 'karma', while not on sage-support. Also, duplication can run rampant.
I'm just thinking out loud, but maybe one of these thoughts will jump start a brainstorm for someone else to figure out the relation. Of course, ask.sagemath is also not quite as venerable as sage-support, so it could yet fizzle. On the third hand, it could be worth sifting through sage-support for obvious things that "should" be on ask.sagemath ... but of course it's not an FAQ, exactly, either...
