I will put my feet in it. I never really cared if it was officially supported I 
have the hardware I have the OS. I had a crack at it, it worked. mabshoff told
me at the time that it was supported but that was then.

I will test patch for numpy-1.5.x if they become available. I know that numpy 
1.5 works because the package from the system works so it should work in sage.

I also believe in trying in testing in lesser known platforms, I just happen 
to have one at hand, Dave has several.
