I was browsing the matlab website and ran across their semi-annual
contest page:
http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/contest/contests
That looks like a fun way to engage the community. It seems like they
really have a nice system, where towards the end of the contest people
can see each others code, etc. It would be cool if we (or the larger
scientific python community, or even the larger python community) had
one of these every so often.
