The version that was current from February to July 2011 had about
51,000 windows
downloads.  I don't know of any easy way to "just upgrade". People
just download
a new copy. I personally tend to download 2 copies, one at home and
one in my office.
On the other hand, I assume there are people (like Sage) downloading 1
copy and redistributing it
locally to a lab or class etc.

It certainly provides a cheap-shot criticism of Sage to point to the
lack of a
windows port. On the other hand, does anyone have a handle on how many
real people refuse to use Sage because of this?
