Well, that's a quite different issue, doesn't happen (or get reported)
frequently, can (and should) be solved by calling dvipng properly, and
especially it doesn't break *building* Sage.
(Besides that, the cause of the error is pretty obvious I think -- in
contrast to the PPL issue.)
